One day the yellow shirts are out in force trying to topple the government, now it's the red shirts' turn. Why aren't the yellow shirts kicking some?

Because they are demanding that the Thai Army shoot the Red Shirts en masse for trying to topple the Government, just like the Army didn't do to the Yellow Shirts.

Hypocrisy is just a way of life in ultra-nationalistic politics.

That doesn't explain why they're not duking it out hand-to-hand, or at least counter protesting somewhere.

They want the Army to do their dirty work for them. And actually they have run one or two fairly weak protests.

This could get very boring very quickly. If the government falls and is replaced by the opposition, the yellows will just come out and do the same thing again.

And someone should tell these guys that being a redshirt is synonymous with being killed.
